Fannie Mae

Give it up. All of you that are trying to save your home. Give it up! It is a huge farce and you need to get out. If anything comes of the loan modifications or principal decreases let the military families receive it. Although I don't think that there is any relief, if there is such a thing let the people who protect us receive the assistance. I am moving on. I have tried for three years to save my home and they have slipped here and there in order not to help. It is the biggest joke since WMD's.

Worst company ever. charges to accept payment.

My mortgage was transfered from chase who made it easy to make payments. I paid early every month. With LBPS/IBM I am charged to make payments unless I send a check in the mail, does anybody else see red flags(lost in the mail) given all the other complaints? My mortgage is roughly $972. a month, around $100 goes to principal and they want to charge another $5 for online transfers. It seems like in these economic times they would welcome payment. I called Fannie Mae, my loan holder and they told me they don't get involved until I am in forclosure. I can't understand being charged to make my payments on time.

Fannie Mae exec helps private investor to make millions at taxpayers expense

While checking property sales records of Maricopa County for the past 12 months I believe I found evidence of corruption within Fannie Mae that allowed an out of state property investment company Orchard Terrace Estates LLC to earn significant profits at the taxpayer expense. The amount of sales handled by Fannie Mae Sales Manager and Associate Vice President Lea France which I believe is behind this scheme is so big that running this scheme has caused a negative affect on property values.

I provided the information I've collected in the following blog:

http://lea-france-fannie-mae-complaint.blogspot.com

Thank you for your attention,

John Doe.

WCDA and Fannie Mae won't release insurance money to repair my house

In July of this year my house sustained 28,000.00 in damages from a hail storm. My insurance company paid and my checks were made out to my mortgage company and myself. WCDA says they are required to follow Fannie Maes guidelines and only release 20% of the money until all repairs are made. It is now October in Wyoming, the snow is coming soon and I have 4-2 foot square holes in my roof where the skylights used to be before the hail, my siding looks like it was shot with a machine gun and my windows are broken. No contractor will even start repairs without 50% down and it looks as if this is an industry standard. Also I was told by WCDA that they are not required to pay me interest on the money held and I will have to fiure out how to get repairs done before they will turn my insurance money over to me. This is a racket. There are literally hundreds of us in the same boat and were being told that it is our problem not theirs when all we want is our funds released so we can make our homes livable again.Damned right I am pissed!

Bad luck man. I'm "lucky" I have greentree and they are doing something similar.

Estimates needed to release a portion of the insurance payments.

I see their view of this since I work for a bank, but if a consumer demonstrates good faith and at least shows evidence and maybe a contract with a company to do the work, the mortgage lender should make a check out to you and the contractor. Should be in your contract, buried in the fine print.

Fannie Mae and Renters Rights in a Foreclosure

I am sure I am no the only cowboy on this horse, I found out last week that the house I am renting has been foreclosed on, Our joke of a president signed a bill to "help" renters in foreclosures, someone forgot to tell Fannie Mae and it's hit-men who are "managing" the property for them. There are numerous options out there to help "us" trust me no one will tell you about them. All you will hear id eviction eviction eviction. There is this thing called cash for key, that is a joke. These people act like we the renters are the ones at fault on the note. We are the Innocent parties, *** the bill even states that we are to get a full refund of all deposits, yeah right! It is time to rally and express our rights (at least until 2012) are being violated. If this *** keeps up there are going to be a lot more street people thanks to Fannie Mae! Just love the government and a president who has no balls. We the people *** that went out window..... It is now we the government. The government is coming the government is coming.

Very professonial company they go the extra mile

This is a very good reo company to work with.Any one who knows anything about real estate, knows you can't do improvements on a Fannie Mae property before the closing, unless you sign a hold harmless waiver. Also any earnest money goes in an escrow account.reo agent cannot access.YOUR AGENT AND YOUR ATTORNEY SHOULD HAVE ADVISED YOU OF THIS, DON'T be so quick to judge the reo agent when you don't understand the process. He wouldn't be the LARGEST REO COMPANY BY SCREWING PEOPLE OVER,OTHER REALTORS ARE ONLY PISSED BECAUSE THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND REO.PROCEDURES AND CAN'T STAND SOMEONE WHO IS MORE SUCCESSFUL THEN THEM

"He wouldn't be the LARGEST REO COMPANY BY SCREWING PEOPLE OVER"

My how naive you are!

I could name a dozen companies who are major players and dont hesitate to screw customers for every penny they can get.

Many are monopolies like cable, internet, phone, utilities, etc.

Gave me false information to deny my harp loan

May 4 2009 I spoke with a resprensitive about refinancing my home under the home afforable program. I was told that i did not qualify for harp because of additional insurance that was purchase on my home by FannieMae, i ask for an REASON for this because i dont have an pmi nor do i have an escrow account with this loan.

I was transferred to another custormer representive who told me that the information given to me by the 1st reprensitive was false because i did not have an escrow account or a pmi. I was transferred 3 times and was hung up on. So i called back and spoke with another representive, she then told me that i didnt qualify because of my loan wasnt backed up by Fannie Mae. this was also false, i was then transferred to Tiffany Sober at ext5491 who told me i didnt qualify because of insurance that was purchased by fanniemae.

I requested to have a copy of the documentation showing when that insurance was purchased and why it was purchased she denied me the info and told me that she could not help me or give me any info obtaining to the extra insurance purchased. I then called Fannie Mae and explained the situation about me not having an pmi or an escrow account, a Fannie Mae representive explained to me that it didnt make any sense for them to stating that i had additional insurance purchased on my property when i didnt have an pmi or an escrow account.I then called Bank of america back and spoke with Tiffany Sober at ext 5491 and i spoke with her supervisor at ext5180 and they both were very rude and told me i did not qualify and they would not give me an explanation in light of me explaning to them about what Fannie Mae had stated to me about the no pmi and no esrow account. Shaun at ext5180 hung up and would not give me a reason for denying my HARP loan. I also asked Shaun what he was going to do about the mistake and he told me basically nuthing.I know conversation are recorded.

Bank of America needs to be investigated for fraud and giving false information.
